EMBRACING HIS GODGIVEN IDENTITY WHILST CELEBRATING HIS FAITH & 'LIFE' VIA CREATIVE EXPRESSION; AND IS ENDEAVOURING TO REACH BEYOND HIS PERCEIVED PERCEPTIONS & LIMITATIONS - TO SEE THINGS... AS GOD SEES THINGS - WITH PURPOSE, BEAUTY & DIVINE POSSIBILITY.



"More and more I’ve been realizing that we shouldn’t limit God, but R E A C H beyond the 'Status Quo' and beyond how we see ourselves… to see how God sees us and our future. My innermost thoughts or intentions have been directed towards, developing a means of connecting with others creatively, promoting authenticity in our craft and above all, glorifying God in all things (Pro 3:6). So, as of January 2020, I established the creative platform ‘AshRawArt’, - a space for artistic collaboration, born from a desire to wholeheartedly love God and love people."  - Ashton Heirdsfield

ASHTON’S CREATIVE INTERESTS BLOSSOMED IN THE UNEXPECTED… AFTER BEING DIAGNOSED WITH SVT (SUPRAVENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA), A HEART CONDITION/AUTO IMMUNE DISORDER LINKED TO FOOD & ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITIES - BACK IN 2016 - WHERE HIS BODY BECAME AWARE OF WHAT THE MODERN WORLD SO EASILY OVERLOOKS: THE GROWING MISALIGNMENT BETWEEN HUMAN BIOLOGY AND MODERN ENVIRONMENTS, INFLUENCED BY CONTAMINANTS, ADDITIVES AND AN INCREASINGLY SYNTHETIC WORLD.

LIFE... SLOWED DOWN. DETOURED. REORIENTATED. WHAT SEEMED LIKE A SET BACK, BECAME SACRED GROUND - A SEASON WHERE FAITH DEEPENED, VISION CLARIFIED AND THE SPARK OF SOMETHING NEW BEGAN TO GLOW.

FAST FORWARD TO NOW...

“My story, I’d like to say, goes beyond the diagnosis - it’s about a God who meets us tenderly in the waiting (Isaiah 40:31), threads purpose through the pauses and weaves beauty into every chapter (Romans 8:28). Through prayer, the love of family and friends, lifestyle and grace, I now live, work and play creatively - living out my calling - all medication-free. That’s not to say it’s been without challenge, but it’s been a quiet, blessed part of my own personal journey that I see through the lens of hope (Jer 29:11) and don’t take for granted. I recognize that everyone’s story is different and for some, medication may play a part. But whatever your story, may it be a gentle reminder: God meets us not only in our strength, but right in the midst - in our surrender. His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Cor 12:9); And if you’re still in process - in the in-between - waiting for the clarity, the breakthrough and walking it out one quiet step at a time - know this: it’s okay to be in the middle - the messy - mid story. When light leads (Psa 119:105) - even the middle becomes sacred ground. Sharing that space honestly - raw, real and reverently - can become the very thing that inspires someone else to keep going. Even mustard-seed faith, whispered in the waiting, still moves mountains (Matt 17:20)...

SO, WHAT BEGAN IN STILLNESS BECAME SACRED.

ASHRAWART EMERGED NOT FROM STRIVING, BUT FROM SURRENDER. THE MESSY BECAME MEANINGFUL. LIMITATION BECAME INVITATION. THE UNKNOWN BECAME FULL OF GRACE; AND WITH HEART OPEN AND EYES LIFTED, HE STEPPED INTO THE UNFOLDING, TRUSTING THE ONE WHO AUTHORS BEAUTY FROM ASHES.

fan the spark... that enlightens... & leads us to discovering more about, ourselves, life, our
