COME TAKE A PEEK...

AshRawArt - ARA EDITING STUDIO SINCE 2020 →

• Laptop: ASUS FX503VM - a faithful companion purchased secondhand - has rendered every video project since 2020.
• RAM: 16GB.
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB).
• Mouse: Razer Optical Mouse (old school, but it clicks).
• Monitor: BAUHN Digital TV (1920x1080@60Hz) - yep, just a TV, has seen more timelines than it was ever designed for.
• Keyboard: Thermaltake USB KB-CHL002 - shoutout to my cousin Dion and bro Brent for this gem.
• Speakers: Behringer MPA40BT-PRO Portable PA System - op-shop score for $50 (yep, for real).
• Editing Software: DaVinci Resolve - start-up free, powerful and what I use for all my videos.

It still amazes me what I’ve been able to create with this setup. DaVinci technically asks for more than what I’ve got - I’ve learned to get creative - slow renders, smart proxies, lots of patience. Where there’s a will… there’s usually a workaround.

"And somehow inside my lil Oz studio - a wild mash of ginger tea, reels and in-between life edits - the videos were made and the stories were told." PTL - Ash xo

WHAT THIS SETUP HAS CREATED

• 80+ videos

• 437,000+ YT views

• Innumerable shares

• 5+ years of consistent publishing

• 50+ stellar artist features - ARA YT projects created & shared freely

• And countless cups of ginger tea ☕

And then there’s the unquantifiable:

• Stories whose value can’t be measured

• Growth - creatively, personally, spiritually

• Those beautiful “this met me at the right time” messages

• Quiet “I see you” moments across the world

The kind of impact analytics can’t track: Comfort, wonder, inspiration, hope, reassurance, peace + light and more...

This little studio has faithfully carried AshRawArt through these first five years - far more than we ever imagined possible!

But now as a new chapter in collaborations unfolds, we’re sensing a gentle shift. A call to go deeper; and as the depth of our collaborations grows... into deeper storytelling and more ambitious visual projects, we'd like our production quality to reflect that depth - honouring the ARTistry we're blessed to steward.

The next chapter begins behind the scenes…

To honour this new season of collaboration and storytelling, we’re preparing the studio to better support what’s ahead...

Though in the meantime…

We’ll keep on keeping on... doing what we’ve been doing...

FUNatically creating, experimenting, rendering… and re-rendering. (Sometimes a few more times than we'd care to admit.)

Sharing it... Raw. Real. Rhythmically.

Because the creative journey rarely unfolds exactly as planned...hey! Ideas evolve. Happy accidents happen. Unexpected detours lead somewhere beautiful; And every now and then, what emerges exceeds our wildest imaginings.

We’re not chasing scale. We’re pursuing depth.

THE VISION AHEAD

We've created with what we had. Now we're preparing for what's ahead... We may not know exactly where our creative journey will lead, but we're making room for the unfolding… more room to explore an idea, take a story deeper, experiment with new possibilities and follow those unexpected creative nudges that sometimes lead to the most beautiful places.

And that's part of the wonder...

When God breathes through art, He... weaves beauty from the most unexpected threads, takes us to places we couldn't have scripted and reminds us there's always m o r e to discover.

So, what might we be making room for in this next chapter?

• More collaborative YouTube projects

• Deeper, more immersive storytelling

• Faith-lit creative partnerships

• Expanded post-production possibilities

• Perhaps, in time… short-form cinematic film projects

• And yes... whatever beautiful, unexpected things find their way into the mix...

At its heart, this season is about cultivating meaningful creative exchange - celebrating faith-fuelled creativity and connecting community with both the art and the artists behind it.

Think reel dreams, soul scenes and visual storytelling, woven together through Light, Life & Art.

The studio may be evolving, but the heart behind it remains the same: creating collaboratively, following the wonder and making space for light-lit stories that might reach further than we ever imagined.

IF YOU FEEL LED TO SUPPORT

• Ergonomic workstation - Desk + seating

• Workflow upgrades - to better support collaborative production

• Studio cooling/heating - reverse-cycle aircon for more comfortable editing sessions (Wild oz Studio + QLD subtropics = say no more)
