• Laptop: ASUS FX503VM - a faithful companion purchased secondhand - has rendered every video project since 2020.
• RAM: 16GB.
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB).
• Mouse: Razer Optical Mouse (old school, but it clicks).
• Monitor: BAUHN Digital TV (1920x1080@60Hz) - yep, just a TV, has seen more timelines than it was ever designed for.
• Keyboard: Thermaltake USB KB-CHL002 - shoutout to my cousin Dion and bro Brent for this gem.
• Speakers: Behringer MPA40BT-PRO Portable PA System - op-shop score for $50 (yep, for real).
• Editing Software: DaVinci Resolve - start-up free, powerful and what I use for all my videos.

It still amazes me what I’ve been able to create with this setup. DaVinci technically asks for more than what I’ve got - I’ve learned to get creative - slow renders, smart proxies, lots of patience. Where there’s a will… there’s usually a workaround.

This little studio has faithfully carried AshRawArt through these first five years - far more than we ever imagined possible!

But now as a new chapter in collaborations unfolds, we’re sensing a gentle shift. A call to go deeper; and as the depth of our collaborations grows... into deeper storytelling and more ambitious visual projects, we'd like our production quality to reflect that depth - honouring the ARTistry we're blessed to steward.

The next chapter begins behind the scenes…

To honour this new season of collaboration and storytelling, we’re preparing the studio to better support what’s ahead:

– A more sustainable long-term rhythm

We’re not chasing scale. We’re pursuing depth.

• Perhaps, in time… short-form cinematic film projects

• And yes... room for the unexpected - because the best chapters rarely arrive planned

At it's heart this season is about cultivating meaningful creative exchange - celebrating faith-fuelled creativity and connecting community with both art and artist's. Think reel dreams, soul scenes & visual storytelling, that weaves together... Light - Life - Art.
